A. All students of Newcastle College of Herbal Medicine

Q.Do
I need my higher school certificate to study with Gracegrove
College?
A. You do not require any formal qualification to begin
studying at Gracegrove College. We encourage people of all ages and from all backgrounds to study with us. We have students from 16 through to 60+ and from all walks of life. Please contact us if have any queries about your ability to study. |
|
|
Q.
Will I have to study hard?
A. This depends entirely on what you want to get from each subject. Subjects may be studied for personal interest or as part of a Diploma in the field you want to work in. As set by ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society), for every three hours spent in the classroom, one-hour study is accredited. However, each hour face to face realistically needs 3 hours study. Having taken the first step forward to learning, it is important to realise the responsibility ahead when planning your subject choices. Gracegrove College suggests at least 1-hour study for every hour in the classroom. |
|
|
Q.
If I have studied a subject from another school or college
will I be exempt from studying the subject again?
A. Gracegrove College recognises AQF qualifications and Statements
of Attainments issued by any other RTO (Registered Training
Organisation). To obtain RPL (Recognised Prior Learning)
all relevant qualifications must be submitted when enrolling
(at least two weeks prior to class) to be approved by
the Principal. An administration fee of $100.00 will be
charged for verification and retaining records. |
